Characteristics:
• Float'n flash
With its innovative flashing red LED light, a sea IC-M24 is easy to find, day or night. The light flashes even if the radio is turned off.
• Small and lightweight body
As a floating marine VHF transceiver, the IC-M24 is small and lightweight and easy to carry around.
• Energy saving 3.7V circuit
The IC-M24 is powered by 3.7V Lithium-Ion battery, BP-266, to reduce the volume and weight of the radio. A newly designed PA circuit provides 5W (approx.) RF output and powerful 600mW (typ.) audio even at this low voltage,
While saving battery consumption for 10 hours
Of operating time. *
* Typical operation with Tx (Hi): Rx: standby = 5:5:90.
• Easy to see large LCD
The large, easy-to-see LCD (32×16mm) offers clear 2-digit channel number indication.
• Built-in regular charger circuits
Charge the IC-M24 by plugging it into the wall. charger directly into the radio. By eliminating exposed metal charging points, the IC-M24 is even more protected from water damage.
• Loud volume and mute functions
Loud volume/mute functions temporarily change the volume to maximum/minimum level with two taps of a button. Depending on the background noise level, you can easily change the volume level to catch the received message.
• Submersible construction equivalent to IPX7
(1m deep for 30 minutes)
• Dual/Tri-function watch • Auto scan function
• One-touch access to Ch 16
• 4-step battery life indicator
• Tag scan and Favorite channel functions

Q: Why sometimes your partner's voice is intermittent?
A: Please note that you are within normal communication range, If you want use radio in distance range, please change other antenna with a bigger output power. If still same problem, please send the radio back to your authorized dealer repair.
Q: Can't turn on talky and even it is switch on, it often shuts off automatically?
A: Please check the battery contacts on the walkie talkie. If it is broken or twisted, please return the radio to your authorized dealer for maintenance during warranty.
Q: Can't transmit or receiver signal with other members?
A: First, please verify that the channel frequency and the CTCSS, you are used the same as those of your group members. Please make sure that you and your partners are all within the radio coverage, If the channel frequency and the CTCSS are the same.
Q: Why sometimes received voice from other groups?
A: Two way solutions. You can change another channel or change another channel frequency by PC software.
Q: Which is better -VHF or UHF?
A: epends on the terrain. The UHF signal is attenuated or absorbed by foliage, rough terrain and trees, VHF does better outdoors. The VHF has difficulties penetrating steel and concrete, UHF does better in and around buildings. If you use the radios in both environments, we prefer using UHF band.
